Synflex 1219 Fr

Formerly known as Dekoron 1219 'FR" Tubing.

Developed specifically for controlling flame spread and smoke generation, Synflex 1219 FR (Flame Retardent) Tubing can be installed in accordance with NFPA, Standard 90A "Installation of Air Conditioning and Ventilation Systems 1985."

Synflex 1219 FR Tubing is made of an exclusive "linear" low density polyethylene based formulation that is UL recognized. It combines the physical characteristics and long term stability of low density polyethylene with flame retardent propertises. Look for UL Classification marking on product.

Advantages
Synlex 1219 FR Tubing prevents fire propagation, as it rapidly extinguishes after being removed from an open flame.

FR Tubing is very similar to Synflex P Tubing for flexibility, lightweight, abrasion resistant, high tensile strength and rugged environment performance.

To guarantee stress crack resistance, both standard ASTM D 1693 test for stress cracking of base materials and a modified test on finished tubing are preformed.

Easy to Install
Installation is simple and quick. Being flexible and light weight, Synflex 1219 FR Tubing can be installed by hand.

Dekoron Tubing Type 1300

Application
Dekabon 1300 is a unique composite-wall tubing designed for pneumatic instrument control systems. Its fully-bonded polyethylene/aluminium construction combines the advantages of both metal and plastic tubing.

Chemical Resistance
The outer, high-density polyethylene layer is imprevious to most chemical-containing atmospheres and enables Dekabon 1300 to out perform practically all types of unproected metal tubing.

Greater Strength
The inner aluminum layer adds tube wall strength that permits Dekabon 1300 to span large distancs without additional support. It also makes a perfect tubing choice for irect burial without additional protection, from concrete to earth installations. Dekabon 1300's shape-holding ability can provide neat looking bends without special bending tools. Yet the metal reinforced tube wall gives Dekabon 1300 greater pressure ratings than just plain plastic tubing.

Easy to Install
Dekabon 1300 can be cut cleanly with a standard utility knife. Tube O.D.'s are sized to connect with standard compression fittings without special tube preparation. Tubing is manufactured in long, continous lengths which can eliminate many fitting connections, yet it's light enough for an installaer to carry to practically any location.

Low Cost
Dekabon 1300 costs only a fraction of the cost associated with coated metal tubing or tubing made from one of the expensive corrosion resistant materials.

Dekoron Plastic Tubing

Single line plastic tubing is available in low density polyethylene, flame retardent polyethylene, PVC and Teflon.

Dekoron plastic tubing is recommended for pneumatic control installations and low pressure hydraulics where low cost flexible connections are needed. While choice of material is dependent on the environment, our wide product selection offers solutions to common problems such as chemical resistant, pressures, mechanical abuse, temperature and flexibility.

Dekoron Tubing Type 1300 Composite Tubing

Manufactured of an an inner layer of coated aluminium which bonds both to itself and to the outer polyethylene jacket. An excellent choice for pneumatics where installation conditions might include high moisture areas and / or direct burial applications.

Dekoron Composite Tubing's unique properties make it usable for telecommuncation pressurization systems and as transport tubing for natural gas.

Dekoron Coated Metal Tubing

Using our plastic extrusion technology, Dekoron coat metal tubing with a polymer layer for corrosion protection. Tubing includes copper, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials. Typically coated with PVC or polyethylene, these products are ideal for instrumentation and process control lines in harsh environment.

Armor Tubing

For use wherever superior cut-through and crush protection for metal or plastic tubing is desired. The galvanized steel interlock armor can be covered by an outer jacket for corrosion protection.

Light Armor Tubing

Designed to work with both plastic and metal tubing bundles, light armor features smooth overlapped aluminium tape which is bonded both to itself and to the thermoplastic outer jacket. It is particularly well suited for use with pneumatic systems requiring corrosion proection, direct burial or protection from moisture penetration through the outer covering.

Cable-Reinforced Bundles

Metallic strength members can be incorporated into our tubing bundles to give lateral support. The reinforcing cable also protects individual tubes against impact damage and kinking.

Multi-Size/Multi-Material Bundles

Both parallel and cabled bundles are available in designs incorporating components of various sizes and various materials, such as Teflon and plastic tubing along with instrumentation wire, in order to meet specific job requirements.

Parallel and Cabled Bundles

One of the most notable aspects of Dekoron tubing product line is the ability to manufacture tubing bundles in either parallel, cabled or flat-pack configurations. These bundles are designed to simplify installation with individually numbered metal or plastic tubes to guard against installation errors. Bundle applications are found in process control and instrumentation, robotics, beverage transport, and ballast and packer control on off-shore platforms. Dekoron has the engineering capabilities to custom design bundles for specific applications.

Fire Barrier Tubing

Our fire barrier system is designed for longer service life in the event of fire. The time-to-failure aspect is controlled by tapes and jacket thickness. Protection ranges from welded splatter to pressure retention over a 16 minute period with exposure to direct flame.
